Not that long ago I bumbed into a client who's partner is doing the Couch to 5km. I'll be honest I thought I can ran 5km, I don't need to follow an app. I can easily run 5km.
But why don't I?
Now this is what I ask clients. If you have wanted to do something say loose weight or run 5km or even clean your wardrobe out (see my new business My Colour and Style to help!). Why haven't you?

Money
Can't be bothered
Fear of failing (again or if you are a perfectionist the fear of failing overules everything else)

No one to support you or be there with you

We can find many excuses, some legit and some good excuses :) of why we avoid things. For me the running is yes I can do it, but WHY DO I WANT TOO?
I would like to increase my fitness. I would love to step out of my comfort zone. I would like to drop a few kilos. I would like to feel impressed by myself!
So last night I downloaded the Couch to 5km run and today was day 1. I have also just submitted all my final exams for my Nutrition Course so I felt less 'overwhelmed' with things to fit in my day.
Day 1 was so 'simple' and by that I mean it was only like 30mins out of my day, it was broken down into intervals and well actually super enjoyable. So off Elsa and I went for our run.
Already looking forward to the next run!
If anyone is keen just search Couch to 5km and off you go. Put aside the excuses & ket's get moving
