Are you a get sh!t done or make excuses?

Which are you?

Somedays I have a nice little combo of both, but most days I am a get Sh!t done girl. I love my 'to do lists' as I can things things off. Did you know in 'notes' on your Iphone you can create little tick boxes? I not long found that out and thought it was the best thing since sliced bread!

Take each days as a day to get things done rather than " I'll do that tomorrow" as you will never know what tomorrow has in store.

Look don't get me wrong, sometimes I do love a "do nothing (physical or menatlly taxing) day" take a few Sundays back when it was pouring and we couldn't get done what we wanted to do in the garden. If you have seen our driveway lately (PT CLIENTS) you know its been a work site for a bit and it frustrates me, but the weather has stopped us (well Matt!), so we spent this particular Sunday chill'n. Although it was not a physical get Sh!t done day, it was a very productive day on the laptop.

So what do you put off because well you CBF or it's in the too hard basket or just plain overwhelm?

Here are 10 tasks that people commonly procrastinate on:

1. Cleaning and organising

2. Exercising

3. Financial planning

4. Health check-ups

5. Career development

6. Home maintenance

7. Studying or learning

8. Communication

9. Time management

10. Self-care

Which one can you tick?

Have you heard of a book called "Eat that Frog!" By Brian Tracy (here's a link to amazon Its a fantastic book (only about 112 pages) about getting the hardest task of the day done first thing, then the rest is easy. However it does all come down to planning & getting really clear on what you want to achieve.

So before you get moving after reading this, list down some tasks you have been putting off and number them by importance rather than the enjoyment factor.

Example:

  • Book in reoccurring Bootcamp/ PT Sessions (accountability and get fit)

  • Book in Colour Analysis (so I can finally update my Spring wardrobe)

  • Do you tax

  • Book physio for that niggling shoulder I have been putting off

  • Read "Eat that Frog"

  • Mow the lawns whilst the sun is shining

  • Finish reading "Eat that Frog"

  • Communicate with the family the plans for the week or have that awkward convesationwith your boss you want to work from home more

  • Plan a holiday

  • Enjoy a coffee in the sun

Also I am getting early and planning our Annual Christmas Party - Lawn Bowls!

Check out the Facebook Page for the Event (Hold the date)
